Beautiful and rare Issey Miyake Knee-High Socks from A-POC Collection. This needs a little explanation if you are not familiar with it:
A-POC, which stands for “A Piece of Cloth,” is a fashion concept introduced in 1997 by Miyake and textile engineer Dai Fujiwara.
Instead of cutting and sewing fabric to make garments, A-POC uses computer-programmed knitting and weaving machines to create tubes or sheets of fabric that already contain the structure of the final garment within them. These are essentially customizable patterns woven into the fabric itself, allowing wearers to cut out and shape their clothing directly from the material.
